You have probably been using Microsoft Outlook for your e-mail communications in your line of work, but your curious appetite wants to enhance that user experience. Here, we will be recapping on what our senior engineer, Pranau, has shared with us on the new and less known features available on Outlook in our last webinar!

Firstly, the latest Focused feature on your Outlook’s main interface streamlines more important or high priority emails. Besides that, Outlook allows you to schedule delivery of an email to another date and time, and undo send timeline from 0 to 10 seconds. Furthermore, you can decide if you want to receive delivery and read receipts of the e-mail you are sending by enabling it at the Message option. You are also able to switch to another e-mail address domain from your Outlook domain while drafting an e-mail.

The influx of emails for different departments in your inbox can also be better managed by creating sub-folders titled depending on your preference, whether by department name or even by your team member’s name. On top of that, the Snooze option is available for you to set reminders on a particular e-mail you wish to work on a later time, and you can even drag and drop that specific e-mail to the Taskboard under the To-do option on the Outlook interface.

With Outlook, you too can conveniently create Teams or Skype meetings and send out e-mail invitations directly thereafter via the Calendar feature of Outlook.

Needing to forward certain e-mails to a specific department? The Distribution Groups setting in Outlook acts as that email forwarder, allowing you to create different groups of recipients and manage the membership of each groupNot forgetting that you are also able to import existing contact lists up to your Outlook!

Do take note that these new and hidden features and many more are all available at both the Web and client applications, but the only difference between the two is that you can work offline with the client application while the former requires internet connection.
